Rick Harris

Rick is an active veteran of the real estate industry, and is the Principal Broker/Owner of Coldwell Banker Pro West in Ashland, Oregon.  Rick is also a real estate trainer and strategic facilitator for real estate associations and MLSs across the country.

Rick grew up in the Pacific Northwest but lived in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, California, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, New Mexico, Delaware and New York.  Rick is a graduate of the University of Oregon and University of Utah, and spent 12 years as a theatrical scenery and lighting designer before becoming a real estate.

Rick has over 29 years of hands-on, in-the-trenches experience in real estate sales and REALTOR® leadership at the local, state and national level, including: Local Association President and MLS President, State President, long-time NAR Director, NAR Regional Vice President, Federal Political Coordinator, Chair of NAR’s MLS Issues and Policy Committee and MLS Technology & Emerging Issues Advisory Board, and Board Member for zipLogix.

Rick lives on a small ranch in Southern Oregon with his wife Ellen Dennis, their three standard poodles, four horses and two cats.
