Karen Becker, RCE, CIPS, AWHD (inactive), is a highly accomplished professional in the REALTOR® Association industry with a career spanning several decades. She began her career in 1996 at the Aurora Association of REALTORS® and went on to make significant contributions to multiple associations and MLS organizations.

During her time at the REALTORS® of South-Central Kansas, Karen implemented programs that received national recognition and continue to be active today. Her innovative initiatives demonstrated her ability to develop and execute successful projects that had a lasting impact on the association and its members.

In 2010, Karen took on the role of CEO at the Southeast Minnesota REALTORS® and the second-largest MLS in Minnesota. In this capacity, she played a crucial role in facilitating an MLS merger and conversion to NorthstarMLS. Working closely with leadership teams in Rochester and Minneapolis/St. Paul, Karen successfully navigated the complex process of merging two MLS systems into a unified platform, ensuring a smooth transition and improved services for real estate professionals in the region.

In 2019, Karen returned to Colorado to guide the Aurora Association through a merger with the South Metro Denver REALTOR Association. This merger required strategic planning, effective communication, and adept management skills, all of which Karen demonstrated throughout the process. Additionally, she skillfully guided the Board through various legal challenges, leveraging her expertise and experience to ensure the successful outcome of the merger.

Drawing on her extensive industry experience, Karen also worked as a consultant, particularly at NorthstarMLS, where she provided valuable guidance during a leadership transition. She developed strong relationships with vendors, fostered effective communication between departments, and offered advice on product management projects, leveraging her insights to drive positive change and growth.
